Alice Adaline Shepard Bradford Fox, age 95, passed away October 8, 2009 in Kennewick. She was born February 10, 1914 to Will and Minnie Shepard in Chelan Falls, WA. Alice attended schools in Chelan Falls and Twisp, WA. She married Ray Bradford in September of 1929. Out of this marriage 2 children were born. A son Robert and daughter Marian. During World War II Alice worked in the Bremerton ship yards. In 1947 Alice and her family moved to Pasco. She then worked in Kennewick packing fruit. In 1952 she began working for the Pasco School District as a cook. She retired after 27 years from Mark Twain Elementary School. She was best known as the "milk and ice cream Lady". In 1980 her husband Ray passed away; she then married John Fox in 1981. Alice was a member of the Methodist Church, the Washington State Grandmother's Club, Rambling Rovers Club and Pasco Franklin County Senior Citizens. She later volunteered for the Senior Citizens. Alice enjoyed gardening, crocheting, playing pinochle, fishing and camping. But most of all she enjoyed the time spent with family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Will and Minnie Shepard; 2 brothers, Gillard and Rodger Shepard; her husbands, Ray Bradford and John Fox. She is survived by her brother Jerry Shepard of Maple Valley; daughter Marian Buck of Entiat; daughter-in-law Shirley Bradford of Pasco. Her grandchildren Bob Barb, Cheryl, Roger, Mark and Doug Melissa Bradford and Ron Carmen, Donna, Dennis and Ray Sally Harter. Also 13 great grandchildren, 8 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. We would like to thank Callaway Gardens and their staff for taking such good care of our loved one for the past year. We will miss our mother, mother-in-law, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Funeral Services will be held on October 14, 2009 at 1:00pm at Mueller's Greenlee Funeral Home on Court Street in Pasco. Graveside Services will immediately follow at City View Cemetery. There will be a reception at the Riverview United Methodist Church, 4012 W. Court St. in Pasco following the graveside service.
